App schedules

Decide which apps appear on your Other phone’s home screen, and when.

How can I manage apps?

You decide which apps are available on the menu and when. You do this in the "Apps" section on the menu. Drag and drop an app into the appropriate schedule (Always, Never, or a custom schedule).

Apps which are disabled (either permanently or during a scheduled time window) will not be accessible to your child, and will not receive notifications.

How do I make my own schedule?

You decide when and for how long apps are available for your child. In "Apps" tap “Add a schedule”, give it a name, and set the times and duration.

The daily limit is the total time your child can spend across all apps in that schedule. You can also set weekday availability by selecting only weekday timeslots.

Can I manage app schedules over the web?

You can sign in to SafetyMode.com to manage the apps on your child's device from your phone or computer. Here you can move apps between "Always" and "Never" to remove or add an app to the homescreen. The phone settings may take a few minutes to update.

What does "won't receive notifications" mean for hidden apps?

Any app not available, is not seen on your child's home screen. Other’s Notification Blocker ensures that the disabled apps do not have internet connectivity.

As a result, kids won't be distracted by notifications pushed to apps they can't currently use.
