Google account

Linking a Google account is required to set up the Other Phone and access SafetyMode features. It ensures the phone can be managed securely by parents.

Step 1: Link your Google account from the email (on the web)
  1. Open the “Link your Google account” activation email.

  2. Click the secure Link Account button.

  3. Choose the Google account you want to use for managing the device and confirm.


    • Tip: If you don’t have a Google account, you can set one up here.

Step 2: Sign in on the phone with the same Google account
  1. Power on the Other Phone.

  2. Connect to Wi-Fi and follow the on-screen setup.

  3. When prompted, sign in with the same Google account you linked in Step 1.


    • Remember: Using a different account will prevent remote controls from working.

Step 3: Open the Manage Portal (on the web)
  1. Go to the Manage Portal and sign in with the same Google account.

  2. You should see your device listed.

  3. From here you can manage:


    • App Controls (what appears on the homescreen)

    • Content Filters (filter strength, categories, alerts)
